Not much time left for skiers and riders to get amazing deals!

Although the content of this entry doesn't pertain directly to living urban in Denver there are many of us that enjoy Denver's proximity to World Class ski snowboarding resorts.  We get to have our cake and eat it too, all the amenities a big city provides only 45 minutes from great snow conditions.  Time is running out! Most of these deals only last until this Sunday, November 7th so if you haven't already, and you can drum up cash then get your hands on one of these great passes.

Where can I get rid of paint, batteries, oil, etc., in Denver?

I know I am not supposed to just throw it away, so where can I get rid of items like paint, batteries, oil, old electronics and CFL's in Denver?  Gone are the days of throwing anything and everything in the trash and luckily for those eco-minded individuals, there are more and more places to properly dispose and recycle unwanted items.  Below are links for the various items we find so difficult to properly dispose of courtesy of Yahoo Green.  Hopefully next time you are holding a burnt out CFL, you will resist the temptation to simply throw it in the trash and instead take it in for recycling.
