How Will Residential Growth Limits Impact Your Chance of Buying a Home?

Lakewood, Colorado has frequented local news outlets as of late. Taking a page out of Boulder County’s book, the Lakewood Strategic Growth Group made headlines with their petition to impose a 1% yearly cap on new residential builds in the year 2018.  That would mean that new housing units would be maxed-out at 650 for next year, falling far short of demand.
