Highlands name the top neighborhood by 5280 Magazine for 2012.

Whenever I meet with out of state buyers I am amazed at how many of heard of Highlands and the surrounding neighborhoods of North West Denver. For the past 15 years or so it seems Highland has been the little brother to Wash Park but perhaps that trend is changing. While Highland doesn't have what makes Wash Park so special, Wash Park, it does have it's own parks, two of which are being completely redeveloped in Sloan's Lake and Berkeley Lake, along with multiple dining and shopping destinations, is bike and pedestrian friendly and of course the location to Downtown and the highways doesn't hurt either.
The article goes into great depth as to what makes Highland so desirable and I would highly recommend reading the article and also seeing the other neighborhoods they think will follow in Highland's footsteps. To read the article, click here.
