Live in blossoming Highland
Highland is a blossoming neighborhood with a rich ethnic history; the influence of Italian, Irish, German and Mexican immigrants can be seen in the neighborhood's businesses, restaurants, shops and churches. Bounded by Federal Boulevard, 38th Avenue, I-25 and 23rd Avenue, this neighborhood has enjoyed a recent resurgence, becoming one of Denver's hottest neighborhoods. New loft complexes, refurbished older homes and new-urban designs attract residents who appreciate pleasant streets and outstanding skyline views. Highland overlooks Denver from across I-25, and is connected to downtown by a new pedestrian bridge. Residents can walk to downtown's many attractions or hop on the light rail at Union Station. Interestingly, Highland neighborhood has Denver's largest population of children aged 0-5 years old.
West Highland is the neighborhood to the immediate west of Highland, with the borders of 38th and 29th Avenues on the north and south and Federal and Sheridan Boulevards on the east and west. The two neighborhoods together are sometimes called "Highlands."
