Mic originally came to Denver from Los Alamos, New Mexico to attend Regis University, where he graduated with honors in Finance and Business Administration. This small townNew Mexico native loved living in Denver so much (in particular The Highlands) that he never left. Mic used his finance background to land a job in the banking industry before he landed in real estate. After almost 8 years as a licensed real estate agent, Mic is an integral part of the LIVE URBAN team, focusing primarily on the real estate of his favorite neighborhoods in Denver, The Highlands and Central Denver. Mic prouldly calls Denver his home, and at heart he is a Colorado native.
Being a full time agent allows Mic to view hundreds of homes every month, and he passes on his extensive knowledge of the Denver real estate market to his buyers and sellers. The ever-changing real estate market in Denver is currently "strong" for buyers and staying on top of market trends is imperative. This is something Mic studies on a daily basis knowing what parts of the city are particularly "hot" or "cold." Where do you LIVE?
>I live in a 1950's raised ranch in Berkeley. I bought it from the original owner who hadn't updated it since she built it 55 years ago so I have plenty of remodeling and weekend projects on my hands. I love the area and can walk to all that Highlands has to offer. Doesn't get better than that.
Why Real Estate... Aren't There Enough Agents On The Planet Already?
After attending college at Regis University and seeing home prices in the Highlands almost double while I was there, I begin to realize the huge investment potential of Real Estate. After graduating, I explored the investing idea further and realized it would not only be great to invest on my own, but to also teach other people how they can invest in Real Estate and appreciate the huge potential for returns. I love being able to help someone out of college, a young family just starting their lives together, or even a real estate savy buyer not only find the perfect home, but also find a great investment that will provide for them financially years down the road.
What Music Is Currently In Your iPod?
I'm obsessed with Ryan Bingham right now along with Mumford and Sons, The Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, Reckless Kelly and anything Americana.
What Cause Gets Your Time And Money?
My wife and I own Ooh Aah Jewelry on Tennyson Street and through the store we are lucky enough to be able to contribute to lots of local charities and schools. Planned Pethood provides an amazing service for the animals of Denver and I like to help them out whenever possible.
Give It Up. What Local Restaurant Is Your Best Kept Secret?
My two favorites in Denver are Cafe Brazil and Z Cuisine; both incredible. The pizza and beer at Hops & Pie can't be beat and I can't get enough of the sandwiches at Spuntino.
